The Experience
Experience the benefits of total control
1. The ease of living
Continuum Systems gives you the ability to browse into your home from anywhere in the world to monitor the property, arm the security system or even turn the lights on or off.
You can change lighting, heating, alarms and do this through familiar tools like your mobile phone, PDA or web browser.
With a press on the control, the various lighting types change to preset scenes, setting the perfect mood whether you’re reading, relaxing or entertaining.
You can be informed of an alarm being triggered, a smoke sensor going off, or a water sensor detecting a flood and reacting to that information by shutting off your mains water all from any location in the world.
You can help reduce your carbon footprint by disconnecting power to equipment normally left on standby (TV, Stereo etc) and reduce fire risk by cutting power to all load heavy utilities (e.g. cooker, heating and washing machines etc). You can also disable sockets in kids’ bedrooms.
2. Wireless System
Transmission of signals between components of the system is done via radio frequency. This means the system can be installed easier, cheaper and faster than a wired installation. It can be easily modified at a later date or the system can be taken with you if you move.
A wireless system provides flexibility since it can be installed anywhere it’s needed (even if a 240V line is unavailable). It’s also completely safe. And it looks smarter too.
3. Security
The door station rings the home phone when a visitor presses the doorbell, allowing you to talk to the visitor from any phone, and to open the door or gate for the visitor. When no one is at home and the security is armed to ‘Away Mode’, the system can dial to your mobile phone to let you talk to the visitor as if you were at home, and allow you to open the door for friends, delivery staff or hired help. This can also deter prowlers checking for unoccupied homes.
Biometric technology measures and analyses human body characteristics, such as fingerprints, eye retinas and irises, voice patterns, facial patterns and hand measurements, for authentication purposes. With biometric door entry, people are able to come and go as they please, and you need never worry about losing your keys again.
4. The Elderly
Complete control solutions can offer significant improvements to the living standards for elderly or disabled people making their life easier, more comfortable and secure.
5. Getting More From Your Home And Business
Living areas
The house is divided by ‘living areas’ such as the master bedroom and en suite bathroom or the kitchen, hallway and TV room. Within each area appliances can still be changed individually. The main advantage of using living areas is that each area is connected to the same system, so if, for example, the lights are turned off, the area effected is only the chosen living area. When planning your system we will discuss and agree the most appropriate areas with you.
Business areas
A business can be divided into areas with a separation of employees, residents, employers, and customers. Cost effective benefits can be gained through the management of only using areas that are needed.
