Lighting
Light is often the single most important factor of any room, yet it is frequently overlooked. Good lighting is about altering perceptions of light and space, enhancing features, enabling tasks and creating focal points and moods. It’s much more than just ensuring that the light level is adequate.
‘Avenues of light’ can be created for night-time, creating a scene that just lights the route from one room to another. Integration with other home control systems means that this ‘avenue’ can be intelligently triggered by motion rather than switches and only at certain times of the day or night.
A 'welcome home' button by the front door can switch on a predetermined access route whilst a 'all lights off' button by the front door saves time and money.
